Pleasure As Capital.

by
Dean Gotcher

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:" 1 Peter 5:6

The child's carnal nature in you, i.e., your love of pleasure and hate of restraint, i.e., your desiring the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' (dopamine emancipation) which the world stimulates, hating the father's/Father's authority, i.e., hating having to humble, deny, die to, control, discipline your "self" in order to do right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth is antithetical to the father's/Father's authority, i.e., to having to humble, deny, die to, control, disciple your "self" in order to do right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth. While capitalism is based upon your "capitulation" of "self," i.e., your setting aside the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' (dopamine emancipation) which the world stimulates in order to do the job right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth, i.e., doing the father's/Father's will, having a guilty conscience (which the father's/Father's authority engenders) when you do wrong, disobey, sin socialism is based upon your 'justification' of "self," i.e., the child's love of pleasure and hate of restraint in you, negating the father's/Father's authority, i.e., having to humble, deny, die to, control, discipline your "self" in order to do right and not wrong according to his/His established commands, rules, facts, and truth, questioning, challenging, defying, disregarding, attacking the father's/Father's authority instead, so you can do wrong, disobey, sin without having a guilty conscience, i.e., so you can do wrong, disobey, sin, i.e., enjoy the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates with immunity.

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:16

"To enjoy the present reconciles us to the actual." (Karl Marx, Critique of Hegel's 'Philosophy of Right')

In the so called "new" world order enjoying the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates and hating restraint (hating the father's/Father's authority), i.e., the child's carnal nature in us is the standard for "good," making doing right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth, i.e., doing the father's/Father's will, i.e., the "old" world order "evil." Worth or value therefore is not based upon the "quality" of the work done or being done, i.e., doing the job right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth but is based upon the amount of enjoyment the worker has experienced in doing it—whether it was done right or not. It is the difference between a "producer driving society" and a "consumer driven society" where in the latter value, worth, or capital is based upon the persons enjoyment of the carnal pleasures the 'moment' which the world is stimulating, whether the job was or is being done right or not and in the former it (quality) is based upon getting, doing, or having done the job right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth, pleasure, value, or capital coming from doing or having done the job right, according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth. In the latter "the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life" prevails, i.e., enjoying the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates becomes the driving force and the purpose of life while in the former it is the father's/Father's authority, i.e., doing the father's/Father's will. These two paradigms, i.e., ways of feeling, thinking, and acting, i.e., relating with "self," others, and the world, and responding to the father's/Father's authority are antithetical to one another. For one to prevail the other must not. We are servants—whether we want to admit it or not—to one or the other, i.e., to "self" and the world which stimulates it or to the father's/Father's authority, i.e., doing the father's/Father's will, loving the one and hating the other.

"No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Luke 16:13

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" Romans 6:16

Money is stored up pleasure, i.e., dopamine emancipation. By making the enjoyment of the carnal pleasure of the 'moment' the standard of life no one has the right to store up money, i.e., to store up pleasure (negating inheritance based upon doing right and not wrong, all children get it, even the one's you do not want to receive it, i.e., you do not like, whether you like it or not) since pleasure (money) is only of value when enjoyed in the 'moment,' being stimulated by the world, i.e., the current situation. Therefore anyone getting in the way of the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world is stimulating, insisting upon the humbling, denying, dying to, controlling, disciplining of "self" (setting aside pleasure) in order to do right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth is the enemy of the individual, making the father's/Father's authority, i.e., the capitulation of "self," i.e., capitalism the enemy of society. By making pleasure the standard for life, value, worth, capital the heart of man (deceitfulness and wickedness) prevails over and therefore against doing the father's/Father's will (righteousness).

"The heart is deceitful above all things [thinking pleasure is the standard for "good" instead of doing the father's/Father's will, i.e., having to set aside pleasure, i.e., having to humble, deny, die to, control, discipline "self" in order (as in "old" world order) to do the father's/Father's will, i.e., in order to do right and not wrong according the father's/Father's commands, rules, facts, and truth], and desperately wicked [hating the father's/Father's authority which "gets in the way," i.e. which prevents, i.e., inhibits or blocks it from enjoying the carnal pleasures of the 'moment'—which the world stimulates]: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 You can not see your hate of restraint, i.e., hatred toward the father's/Father's authority as being evil since your love of pleasure, i.e., love of "self," i.e., "lust" stands in the way. If you do not take care of (chasten) the Karl Marx in your child, when he gains power, he will take care of (negate) you if and when you get in his way and/or do not take care of (support) him.

"The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil." Psalms 36:1-4

By making pleasure capital, you make people capital, making it possible to buy and sell them (their soul) on the open market of the world, as "human resource." By 'discovering,' through dialogue, your "self interest," i.e., your carnal desires of the 'moment' which the world is stimulating, those of (and for) the world can seduce, deceive, and manipulate you, using you for their own pleasure and gain—with you supporting, serving, protecting, praising, and worshiping them in the process.

"And through covetousness [your "self interests"] shall they with feigned words [plastic words, Gr., i.e., doublespeak, i.e., saying one thing while meaning another, i.e., giving you what you want to hear in order to gain their trust thereby being able to move you down their pathway] make merchandise of you [turn you into "human resource" to be used for their own pleasure and gain]." 2 Peter 2:3

"We know how to change the opinions of an individual in a selected direction, without his ever becoming aware of the stimuli which changed his opinion." "We know how to influence the ... behavior of individuals by setting up conditions which provide satisfaction for needs of which they are unconscious, but which we have been able to determine." "If we have the power or authority to establish the necessary conditions, the predicted behaviors [our potential ability to influence or control the behavior of groups] will follow." "We can choose to use our growing knowledge to enslave people in ways never dreamed of before, depersonalizing them, controlling them by means so carefully selected that they will perhaps never be aware of their loss of personhood." "We can achieve a sort of control under which the controlled [the manipulated] though they are following a code much more scrupulously [more government regulations and oversight (sight based management)] than was ever the case under the old system, nevertheless feel free. They are doing what they want to do, not what they are forced to do. That's the source of the tremendous power of positive reinforcement—there's no restrain and no revolt. By a careful design, we control not the final behavior, but the inclination to behavior—the motives, the desires, the wishes. The curious thing is that in that case the question of freedom never arises." (Carl Rogers, on becoming a person: A Therapist View of Psychotherapy)

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." 2 Timothy 4:3, 4

While money is stored up pleasure for the individual, i.e., "physical capital" for his physical needs, socialists see it not only as "mental capital" for the pleasures of the mind—what can be imagined ('created')by its use—but see it as "social capital" for the approval, i.e., affirmation of men as well, 'justifying' their "self," i.e., their love of pleasure (and hate of restraint), establishing pleasure (and hate) over and therefore against the father's/Father's authority, i.e., doing the father's/Father's will, i.e., that which restrains—"represses" a person's carnal nature, preventing him from becoming his "self," "alienating" him from others who think and act like him, i.e., "lusting" after the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates, hating the father's/Father's authority that gets in the way.

"Self-actualizing people have to a large extent transcended the values of their culture. They are not so much merely Americans as they are world citizens, members of the human species first and foremost." (Abraham Maslow, The Farther Reaches of Human Nature)

"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God."   Luke 16:5

"Every one that is proud in heart [who 'justifies' his "self," i.e., who 'justifies' his carnal desires and dissatisfactions of the 'moment,' i.e. who establishes "self," i.e., "human nature" over and therefore against God, i.e., the Father's authority, thus negating the Father's authority, i.e., the fear of God in his thoughts and actions] is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished." Proverbs 16:5

Karl Marx wrote: "It is not individualism [where the child is subject to the father's/Father's authority, having to humble, deny, die to, control, disciple his "self' in order to do the father's/Father's will (instead of his own)] that fulfills the individual, on the contrary it destroys him. Society ["human relationship based upon self interest," i.e., finding one's identity in "the group," i.e., in society] is the necessary framework through which freedom [from the father's/Father's authority] and individuality [being "of and for self" and the world only] are made realities." (Karl Marx, in John Lewis, The Life and Teachings of Karl Marx) "

The real nature of man is the totality of social relations." (Karl Marx, Thesis on Feuerbach #6) It is in "social relations" we compromise our standards, i.e., we compromise established commands, rules, facts, and truth in order to initiate and sustain the "relationship," i.e., 'justify' our "self," i.e., our love of pleasure and hate of restraint, i.e., "human nature." "Building relationship upon self interests" demands the negation of established commands, rules, facts, and truth, i.e., the negation of the father's/Father's authority. It is in dialogue, where there is no father's/Father's authority that this praxis, i.e., 'liberation' of "self" from the father's/Father's authority takes place. Psychology is based upon dialogue. Remove dialogue from psychology, preaching the truth, i.e., doing the Father's will instead and psychology is dead (null and void).

Sigmund Freud believed "the individual is emancipated in the social group." "Freud speaks of religion as a 'substitute-gratification'—the Freudian analogue to the Marxian formula, 'opiate of the people.'" "Freud commented that only through the solidarity of all the participants could the sense of guilt [the guilty conscience for disobeying the father/Father] be assuaged." (Norman O. Brown, Life Against Death: The Psychoanalytical Meaning of History)

"Marxian theory needs Freudian-type instinct theory to round it out. And of course, vice versa." "Third-Force psychology is also epi-Marxian in these senses, i.e., including the most basic scheme as true-good social conditions [absence of the father's/Father's authority] are necessary for personal growth, bad social conditions [presence of the father's/Father's authority] stunt human nature,... This is to say, one could reinterpret Marx into a self-actualization-fostering Third- and Fourth-Force psychology-philosophy. And my impression is anyway that this is the direction in which they are going now." "Only a world government with world-shared values could be trusted or permitted to take such powers. If only for such a reason a world government is necessary. It too would have to evolve. I suppose it would be weak or lousy or even corrupt at first—it certainly doesn't amount to much now & won't until sovereignty is given up little by little by 'nations.'" "The whole discussion becomes species-wide, One World, at least so far as the guiding goal is concerned. To get to that goal is politics & is in time and space & will take a long time & cost much blood." ". . . A caretaker government could immediately start training for democracy & self-government & give it little by little, as deserved." "This is a realistic combination of the Marxian version & the Humanistic. (Better add to definition of "humanistic" that it also means one species, One World.)"  (Abraham Maslow, The Journals of Abraham Maslow)

Instead of being concerned about doing right and not wrong according to established commands, rules, facts, and truth, i.e., doing the father'/Father's will, we, as a nation have become concerned about enjoying the carnal pleasures of the 'moment,' making pleasure, i.e., spending money the standard for "good," "lusting" after the affirmation of men, 'justifying' our "self," i.e.  our love of pleasure and hate of restraint (going into debt). When someone is concerned about your (or your children's) "social life" they are speaking the language of Karl Marx, making "social capital," i.e., your children's "feelings" the standard for life. In that case your money, i.e., your spouse, your children, your property, and your business is not yours but theirs, i.e., belongs to them, including you, i.e., your soul so they can buy and sell you, i.e., use you (and all that is yours) for their own pleasure and gain.

Hegel, sounding more like Karl Marx than Karl Marx himself (who was not yet born) wrote: "On account of the absolute and natural oneness of the husband, the wife, and the child [their common "lust" for pleasure including their "lust" for the approval (affirmation) of men], where there is no antithesis [no "top-down" right-wrong way of thinking and acting] of person to person or of subject to object [no father's/Father's authority], the surplus is not the property of one of them, since their indifference is not a formal or a legal one." (Georg Hegel, System of Ethical Life) In other words: your family, i.e.,  your spouse and children, your property, you business is not yours, including you, i.e., your soul, since all belongs to the "the people," i.e., belongs to the "collective" (to the village, to the community, to society), i.e., belongs to the socialist.

According to this 'reasoning,' i.e., 'reasoning' from/through their "feelings," i.e., their carnal desires of the 'moment,' 'justifying' their "self" before "the group" you have no value or worth outside of the collective, i.e., "the group." You have no right to make them "feel" guilty for doing wrong, disobeying, sinning—according to "your" established commands, rules, facts, and truth that get in the way of their carnal desires of the 'moment' which the world stimulates. If you make them "feel" "bad" for being their "self," i.e., for "lusting" after the things of the world, in their mind you are a thief, stealing their "social capital"—which is you 'justifying' them, i.e., their "self," making them "feel" "good," i.e., like God ("Make me 'feel' 'good,' i.e., like God and I will 'like' you." "Make me 'feel' 'bad,' i.e., like a sinner and I will negate (destroy) you.").

"It is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jeremiah 10:23

The greatest fear a socialist has is to be found guilty of doing wrong, disobeying, sinning and admitting it, i.e., admitting that he was wrong, i.e., being rejected by "the group" for no longer being a socialists, i.e., God since he has a guilt conscience for doing wrong, disobeying, sinning. No longer being able to, through dialogueseduce, deceive, and manipulate others into 'justifying,' i.e., affirming his "self," i.e., his "lust of the flesh," "lust of the eyes," and "pride of life" he has to recognize and admit that he is a sinner, i.e., that he, being wrong, has to repent (change the way he feels, thinks, and acts), doing the Father's will instead. Their heart being not only "deceitful above all things" but also "desperately wicked," they will do anything, i.e., whatever it takes to silence (martyr) anyone who speaks the truth. Since it is in dialogue they seek the "truth"where truth must be suspend, as upon a cross, in order to initiate and sustain dialogue—they must reject the Father and His authority, and His Son, Jesus Christ who obeyed Him in all things commanded, calling all who follow him to do the same.

"Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak." John 5:19, 30; 12:47-50

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." Matthew 12:50

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9

Instead of capitulating to the Father, i.e., doing the Father's will, they, enjoying the carnal pleasures of the moment which the world stimulates, 'justify' their "self" (amongst their selves, affirming one another), dying in their sins.

"Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment." Ecclesiastes 11:9

Facilitators of 'change,' i.e., psychologists, i.e., behavioral "scientists," i.e., "group psychotherapists," i.e., Marxists (Transformational Marxists)—all being the same in method or formula—are using the dialoguing of opinions to a consensus (affirmation) process, i.e., dialectic 'reasoning' ('reasoning' from/through the student's "feelings" of the 'moment,' i.e., their love pleasures and their hate of restraint, in the "light" of their desire for group approval and fear of group rejection) in the "group grade," "safe zone/space/place," "Don't be negative, be positive," soviet style, brainwashing (washing the father's/Father's authority from the child's thoughts and actions, i.e., "theory and practice," negating their having a guilty conscience for doing wrong, disobeying, sinning in the process—called "the negation of negation," since the father's/Father's authority, and the guilty conscience which it engenders, is negative to the child's carnal nature), inductive 'reasoning' ('reasoning' from/through the students "feelings," i.e., their "lusting" after the carnal pleasures of the 'moment'—dopamine emancipation—which the world stimulates, i.e., their "self interest," i.e., their "sense experience," selecting "appropriate information"—excluding, ignoring, or resisting, i.e., rejecting any information, i.e., established command, rule, fact, or truth that gets in the way of their desired outcome—in determining right from wrong behavior), "Bloom's Taxonomy," "affective domain," French Revolution (Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité) classroom "environment" in order (as in "new" world order) to 'liberate' children from parental authority, i.e., from the father's/Father's authority system (the Patriarchal Paradigm)—seducing, deceiving, and manipulating them as chickens, rats, and dogs, i.e., treating them as natural resource ("human-ist resource") in order to convert them into 'liberals,' socialists, globalists, so they, 'justifying' their "self" can do wrong, disobey, sin with impunity.

"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken." Jeremiah 6:16, 17

Home schooling material, co-ops, conferences, etc., are joining in the same praxis, fulfilling Immanuel Kant's as well as Georg Hegel's, Karl Marx's, and Sigmund Freud's agenda of using the pattern or method of Genesis 3:1-6, i.e., "self" 'justification,' i.e., dialectic (dialogue) 'reasoning," i.e., 'reasoning' from/through your "feelings," i.e., your carnal desires of the 'moment' which are being stimulated by the world (including your desire for approval from others, with them affirming your carnal desires) in order to negate Hebrews 12:5-11, i.e., the father's/Father's authority, i.e., having to humble, deny, die to, control, discipline your "self" in order to do the father's/Father's will, negating Romans 7:14-25, i.e., your having a guilty conscience when you do wrong, disobey, sin, thereby negating your having to repent before the father/Father for your doing wrong, disobedience, sins—which is the real agenda.

"And for this cause [because men, as "children of disobedience," 'justify' their "self," i.e., 'justify' their love of "self" and the world, i.e., their love of the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' (dopamine emancipation) which the world stimulates over and therefore against the Father's authority] God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie [that pleasure is the standard for "good" instead of doing the Father's will]: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth [in the Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ], but had pleasure in unrighteousness [in their "self" and the pleasures of the 'moment,' which the world stimulates]." 2 Thessalonians 2:11, 12
